The CEO of Pfizer is saying a fourth COVID vaccine dose may be needed sooner than expected to fight the Omicron [[ ahm-ih-cron ]] variant. CEO Albert Bourla told CNBC "real-world data" was needed to know how well boosters protect against the variant and for how long. Bourla originally expected a fourth dose would be needed after 12 months, but he's now saying it might be sooner than that.        The man who runs Instagram is insisting social media can be a positive force in the lives of young people. CEO Adam Mosseri testified in a Senate hearing and said social media companies want kids to remain safe online. He noted Instagram is boosting parental controls.        Jurors in former "Empire" star Jussie Smollett's case are done deliberating for the day. A judge dismissed them shortly after five p.m. in Chicago. They are expected to continue deliberations at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse at 9:15 a.m. Thursday.        The army will reportedly award Purple Hearts to 39 soldiers that suffered injuries when Iran launched an attack on their airbase in Iraq. It comes after a CBS News report that found the injured soldiers were denied the award along with its accompanying medical benefits, despite qualifying for the honor. U.S. officials had initially said there were no injuries in the military strike, but it was later confirmed that over 100 military personnel had suffered traumatic brain injuries.        The NYPD is pulling two-thousand body cameras after one caught fire. According to the department, an officer wearing an Axon AB2 camera noticed it was smoking and when he pulled it off, the camera ignited. The cause is under investigation.        Caeleb Dressel and Suni Lee are Sports Illustrated's Athletes of the Year. Dressel and Lee both won Olympic gold medals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Sports Illustrated Woman Athlete of the Year Suni Lee was the first Asian American woman to win a gold medal in the all-around gymnastics competition.
