Preschool storytime is a fun family program where adult caregiver attends with child and we sing songs, play with puppets, puzzles, board book and make a craft to take home. Register now for this story. We do require registration as we cut crafts for each child who attends and want to make sure there is enough for everyone. Walk-ins are welcome as long as there is enough room and craft supplies for all. Families who are registered will get reminder calls  and cancellation calls due to bad weather.

Senate Democrats are turning up the heat over the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. A group of Democrats sent a letter to President Trump, asking him to order the FBI to investigate the allegation of sexual assault against Kavanaugh. A California college professor has accused Kavanaugh of assaulting her more than 30 years ago. The Senate Judiciary Committee has invited Christine Blasey Ford to testify at hearing scheduled for Monday, but she has refused until there is an FBI investigation.        A former classmate of the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct is walking back her claim the incident happened. Cristina King Miranda now tells NPR that she does not know if the alleged sexual assault took place as she first suggested on social media. The initial Facebook post picked up by multiple media outlets, stated that she remembers accuser Christine Blasey Ford and added that "incident did happen."       Police are confirming multiple fatalities in a workplace shooting in Aberdeen, Maryland. Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler said there are "multiple people wounded" and the suspected shooter, a woman, was taken down and is in critical condition. Gahler would not give specific numbers, but early reports said five people were shot and three people are dead in the shooting at the RiteAid distribution center.        Dangerous flooding spawned by Hurricane Florence is threatening people across the Carolinas. President Trump called the flooding "epic" as he toured damage in North Carolina yesterday. Trump called Florence one of the most powerful and devastating storms in U.S. history.        Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says former Secretary of State John Kerry "can't seem to get off the stage" of foreign policy. Pompeo leveled his latest blast at Kerry last night on Fox News. Pompeo ripped Kerry last week after the Obama administration's chief diplomat met with Iran's foreign minister several times to talk about the Iran nuclear deal President Trump abandoned.        The State Department says terrorists killed fewer people last year. A State Department report shows deaths from terrorists fell 27-percent last year. Terrorist attacks were down 23-percent, compared to 2016.
