Trash and Recycling Collection Information

Relating To Snowstorm

 

There will be NO trash or recycling collection on Thursday March 8, 2018.

 

 

The collection schedule will be as follows:

 

Thursday’s route will be picked up on Friday

Friday’s route will be picked up on Saturday

 

We ask that all collection carts (City serviced and privately serviced) be brought back into the property and placed back out on the appropriate collection day.  There should be no carts out on the streets or sidewalks after Wednesday collection route is completed.

 

Please be patient as we attempt to collect all waste within a timely matter.

A statue of a Confederate soldier at a North Carolina college is down after it was knocked over by protesters tonight. A group of around 250 protestors marched to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill calling for the immediate removal of the monument, called Silent Sam. The crowd started cheering and throwing dirt on it after some people pulled it down using rope.       Court documents are revealing that a Colorado man confessed to strangling his wife, but he claims she killed their two daughters. Chris Watts told police he went into a rage and killed his wife Shanann after he saw her strangling one of their daughters. According to Watts, the other daughter had already been murdered. Chris Watts is being charged with first-degree murder charges over the deaths.        President Trump is worried that anything he tells the Special Counsel in the Russia investigation could be made to look like he's lying. In an interview with Reuters, Trump said he's concerned that if he's interviewed under oath, his words will be compared with testimony from others. He expressed fear that any difference would be used to bring perjury charges.        Actress Rose McGowan is "heartbroken" after learning a fellow member of the #MeTooMovement allegedly paid off an actor who accused her of sexual assault when he was 17. In a tweet, McGowan said their "commonality is the shared pain of being assaulted by Harvey Weinstein." McGowan added that while her heart is broken, she will continue to work on behalf of victims everywhere.        It's official, the Eagles have the best-selling album of all time. The Recording Industry Association of America reports Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 album overtook Michael Jackson's Thriller album to claim the top spot. The Eagles' album was certified at 38-times platinum while Jackson's album was certified at 33-times platinum.
