Notice from the Water Department

Attention North Smithfield water customers:  The Comstock Road water tower will be cleaned and inspected on Tuesday, May 23rd and Wednesday, May 24th.

This may cause temporary reduction in water pressure throughout the water system. Some discoloration of water may occur. This is not harmful.

Department officials recommend limited water use during this time, including using water to wash clothes and dishes.

Check your water before use. If it is discolored, run the cold water until it clears.
