RIPTA Service to Run Holiday Schedule
In Observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Monday, January 21, 2019
Providence, Rhode Island, January 18, 2019 -- The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will operate all fixed-route services on a Sunday/Holiday schedule on Monday, January 21, 2019 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Also on Monday, Flex Services will not be available, except for Route 210 (Kingston Flex Service), which will run on the Sunday schedule from 10am to 5pm.
RIPTA offices, including the Photo Identification and Ticket Sales Offices in Kennedy Plaza, will not be staffed on the holiday. In addition, the Flex Service reservation line (1-877-906-FLEX) and the RIde reservation line (461-9760) will not be staffed on the holiday.
Regular service will resume Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
