The Justice Department is sending a word of warning to Special Counsel Robert Mueller [[ MULL-er ]] ahead of his congressional testimony this week. The DOJ said Mueller should stick with the material he laid out in his final report on Russian interference in the 2016 election. A letter to Mueller said he shouldn't speak about any privileged matters, such as inside decision making.        Top Democrats in Congress are cheering a bipartisan budget deal. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer say the deal will be a boon to the middle class, while also bolstering national security. Part of the deal suspends the debt ceiling for two years, meaning lawmakers won't have to scramble to extend the amount of debt the government is allowed to take on.        A Louisiana police officer who made a threatening post about Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been fired. Gretna Police Chief Arthur Lawson says Charlie Rispoli's Facebook post was an embarrassment to the department. Rispoli called the New York Democrat a "vile idiot" and that she, quote, "needs a round."        Las Vegas prosecutors say they won't bring rape charges against soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. They say there wasn't enough evidence to prove the decade-old allegations beyond a reasonable doubt. The alleged victim said Ronaldo raped her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009 and that she went to the police afterwards. The allegations were revealed in a lawsuit last year.        Grammy-winning singer Art Neville is dead. The New Orleans music icon and member of the Neville Brothers was 81-years-old. Neville was a founding members of The Meters, whose style was the epitome of New Orleans funk. Some of their best known songs were Cissy Strut and Sophisticated Cissy.
