Take a Sneak Peek Into Woonsocket’s Historic Homes This Holiday Season
WOONSOCKET, R.I. (Nov. 15, 2018) – The Museum of Work & Culture will lead a Holiday Historic House Tour of Woonsocket's North End on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 1:30pm.
Participants will tour historic homes in Woonsocket’s North End while learning about their history and architecture from the owners, and will have the opportunity to partake in carol singing as they walk from house to house.
Guests may also join guides and hosts for a traditional French Canadian holiday meal at River Falls following the tour. The menu will include pea soup, meat pie, carved roasted turkey with gravy, honey tarragon carrots, cranberry sauce, brown bread, and a maple dessert.
Tickets for the house tour only are $40. Tickets for the house tour and holiday dinner are $65. Tickets are available at the MoWC or online at SquareUp.com/store/mowc. The meeting place for the start of the tour will be shared upon purchase.

A deadline of today has been set for pro-Palestinian protesters inside New York City's Fordham University to disband. Similar to Columbia University, the protesters set up an encampment inside a university building. Last night, police forcibly removed protesters from a Columbia hall after they took control of the building 20 hours earlier.
