Amo to Recognize Rhode Island’s Service Tradition, Advocate for Blue Economy Future
Congressman Amo to highlight support for Veterans, military families, and expanded opportunities in naval technology
PAWTUCKET, RI – TOMORROW, February 21, 2025, Congressman Gabe Amo (RI-01), will deliver remarks at the 125th Anniversary of the Military Order of Foreign Wars and later visit Jaia Robotics, an innovative start-up in Bristol, Rhode Island that is shaping the future of underwater drone technology.
Congressman Amo is a voice for Rhode Island’s Veterans, recently introducing legislation to recognize the first integrated military unit in U.S. History, the First Rhode Island Regiment. In addition, he has led efforts to grow Rhode Island’s Blue Economy — launching a tour of his district that included a stop at the U.S. Naval Undersea Warfare Center on Naval Station Newport.
